    Location: Melbourne, FL
    Duration: 1 yr 
    Shift: Mon-Fri / 8am – 5pm

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

    Develop vital embedded software for legacy wayside products and Positive Train Control NPI.
    Requirement Analysis and Allocation
    Vital Software Design
    Embedded Software Programming
    Software Integration
    Software Verification Activities
    Software Safety Assurance and Analysis

    Basic Qualifications / Requirements:

    Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
    Minimum 5 years experience developing realtime embedded software in C/C++.
    Experience with 68K and/or Coldfire Microprocessors.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Ability to work in a team environment. 

    Desired Qualifications:

    Railroad, Aviation, Medical or other safety critical field experience.
    Familiarity with Cenelec, DO-178B or other safety standards/processes.

    Experience with the following:

    Embedded Software Development tools such as GHS Multi-2000.
    Requirements Managment tools such as RequisitePro.
    Configuration Managment Tools such as PVCS or Starteam.
    RTOS: Integrity, uC/OS, MQX, QNX or similar
    Matlab/Simulink, Model Based Software Development
